What are the operating hours of VallarTour Bus?
The first departure starts at 10:00 a.m. from the Malecón in Puerto Vallarta, from Tuesday to Sunday. Service ends at 9:00 p.m. at the same stop. Buses depart every hour.
How long is the full route?
The complete route lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, depending on traffic and the day of the week.
How often does the VallarTour Bus run?
The bus runs every 1 hour from Thursday to Sunday, and every 1 hour and 30 minutes from Monday to Wednesday. Frequency may vary due to traffic or other external conditions.
Where can I board the VallarTour Bus?
You can board at any of our official stops, which are listed on our website. If you don’t have a ticket yet, you can also purchase one directly on board.
Is there staff on board to assist me?
Yes, all buses have bilingual staff on board who can help answer your questions and recommend places of interest or activities in the city.
What should I bring or consider for the tour?
We recommend wearing comfortable, light clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat or cap, and staying well hydrated. For more details, please check our ticket section.
Do the buses have an audio guide?
Yes, all buses are equipped with an automatic audio guide in both Spanish and English.
Is the bus accessible for wheelchairs?
Yes, all buses are equipped with ramps and designated spaces for wheelchairs.
Do the buses have restrooms?
No, VallarTour Bus units do not have restrooms on board.
I lost my ticket. What can I do?
A valid ticket is required to ride. Upon your first boarding, your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband. You must keep this wristband throughout the day. If it is lost or removed, you will not be allowed to board again. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the ticket is received at the time of purchase.
How many times can I ride the bus?
You can hop on and off the bus as many times as you like throughout the day at any official stop, as the route operates continuously.
Can I bring luggage on board?
There are no storage compartments for luggage. Only small hand luggage is allowed, as long as it does not occupy seats or block aisles or emergency exits. Large suitcases or bulky items are not permitted.
Can I bring a stroller?
Yes, but it must be placed on the lower level and preferably folded. It should be stored in the designated wheelchair area, giving priority to passengers with disabilities.
Are pets allowed on board?
No, pets are not allowed on board.
Is smoking allowed on the bus?
No, smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the bus.
